Kristina Mladenovic starts preparations for 2020 Season in Dubai

World no.38 is playing at the Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge in Dubai where she is the 1st seeded player as she trains for the 2020 season.
The last match of the 2019 Season that Mladenovic played was at the 2019 Fed Cup final against Australia. Mladenovic defeated Barty to help France lift the trophy. Now, a 26-year-old French player is getting ready for her 2020 Season in Dubai.
In the first round of the ITF tournament, she faced Mayar Abdelaziz. Mladenovic won the match 6-1 and 6-2 after 69 minutes and after the match she said:
"I’m definitely happy with this one and I am looking forward to the next round that should be tougher. I was pretty impressed with her big serve and she’s got a great kick. I’ve got my attention on to the next round where I can expect an even stronger challenge."
In the 2nd round, she faced Stefanie Voegele. Mladenovic, who is the part of the best doubles team of the 2019 season, did not lose a set again to secure the spot in the quarterfinals. There, she meets Sara Sorribes Tormo who is the 5th seeded at the tournament. Mladenovic also shared a video of her practice session in Dubai.

What little we know of these two women it is rather certain Pegula has, by far, the best work ethic.
