Former world number 14, Kyle Edmund showed his Instagram followers his collection of tennis racquets including a gift from Roger Federer.
During the Coronavirus lockdown, many tennis players find some time to do activities they wouldn't do before. Kyle Edmund also used this time to find some of the tennis racquets he used or received in the past.
The 2018 Australian Open semifinalist showed all kinds of racquets. The collection included racquets he used as a junior to racquets he uses now. He also showed one that he received from Roger Federer at the Laver Cup.
"Dug some of my old rackets out from the cupboard, one of each style I’ve played with. The top row are rackets I’ve played with more recently and the bottom from when I started playing through to Juniors. The all red racket was a gift from Roger after the Laver Cup in Chicago and the the one to the right of that was a racket where I designed the colours and Wilson made it as a one off(never played with it). There’s two rackets that aren’t here which is my first Wilson racket, the black and white HammerT. The other is probably my favourite Wilson racket I’ve played with, the ncode six-one 95?
Anyone else got some old rackets lying around?" Edmund wrote.
