Mirza on thought process on comeback to tennis: "It is really day to day"

Former World No.1 Sania Mirza made her comeback recently to the tour after initially leaving the tour for a short period of time due to child birth.

Mirza played at the Hobart International claiming the title and revealed this past week to Gulf News her thought process around her return to action and what it is like to return to the court after so long away from competitive action.

"Mentally, I think I can do it but I think it is more the body. It is really day to day. I have to take it day by day as my body really reacts very differently now. It could be just age or it could be the child birth.

I really don’t know. I am a few years older than the last time I played and I know my body doesn’t recover as well now than compared to before”
