The Spaniard has earned almost $115 million in prize money during his illustrious career, not to mention his numerous endorsements. It comes as no surprise that the King of Clay would treat himself to some well-earned luxuries, as he has interests outside of tennis.
The 19-time Grand Slam champion's love of golf and soccer are well-known. However, he also has a passion for boats, given that he grew up on the Island of Mallorca and spent time sailing as a child. Nadal spends some time during the off-season resting and cruising on the high seas, and it appears the Spaniard has acquired a new boat with which to explore the oceans.
The new yacht, an 80 Sunreef Power Great White, is a spectacular piece of work, enclosing 1200 square meters of absolute comfort. It houses a lounge, three guest rooms and a hydromassage pool. Furthermore, there is a spa on board, as well as a private balcony in the main suite and a dining room with space for eight people.
Measuring at almost 30 meters in length, the ultramodern catamaran was delivered to Nadal in early June. Although the exact price is unknown, ship enthusiasts have estimated it to be worth around 5 million Euros. Regardless, the Spaniard has been spotted on the boat in Mallorca, and it seems to be an investment well-spent.
