Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz have appeared in the top 10 most searched athletes of 2023 as per Google as they sit back to back with each other on the list in sixth and seventh.
As expected in terms of tennis with both being the stand-out players in 2023 winning all four Grand Slam titles combined with Djokovic sealing three of them and Alcaraz winning Wimbledon. The latter had a 65-12 record and continues to gain increased standing in the game while continuing to develop. Djokovic continues to defy his age by still being the kingpin of tennis with three Grand Slams, two Masters 1000's, and the ATP Finals where he won a seventh and record-breaking title.
SetandSmash reported the findings with an infographic with Buffalo Bills safety, Damar Hamlin leading the way. He had a cardiac arrest during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals last season and has since returned to the sport during the 2023 season remarkably. Kylian Mbappe is followed by Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce who is currently dating Taylor Swift so likely skews the figures.
Following that is NBA point guard, Ja Morant, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane followed by Djokovic and Alcaraz. Rachin Ravindra and Shubman Gill both cricketers and NBA point guard Kyrie Irving round out the top 10, but it shows the popularity of the leading tennis duo that they are part of this long list.
