Naomi Osaka will have a new coach at next month's Australian Open as she will be coached by Belgian, Wim Fissette in 2020.
Osaka's team confirmed this team to WTA Insider on Sunday; after she ended her longtime partnership with Sascha Bajin ended following her Grand Slam win in Melbourne.
The Japanese ace had both Jermaine Jenkins and her father, Leonard Francois in tow; for the rest of the season but has now decided on a more permanent option.
Fissette has worked with former World No.1s; including Kim Clijsters, Victoria Azarenka, Angelique Kerber and Simona Halep in the past.
Osaka will begin her 2020 season at the Brisbane International in January; alongside many members of the top ten.
