Novak Djokovic is getting closer all the time to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal's respective Grand Slam records and in a recent interview, Andy Roddick believes that the sooner he gets to that mark he will be towards the top of the discussion when it comes to the GOAT (Greatest of all Time).
Roddick said that especially when it comes to the Masters titles, he edges it which might mean the difference.
“If Novak (Djokovic) somewhere gets to the point if he’s tied for the all-time Slams record with Rafa and Roger. Then, for me it becomes very important on the head-to-head, you go to the Masters titles. He's insane” Roddick said.
“Against everyone in the world, Novak has played more than a couple of times, he has a winning record against all of them. He’s insane, to have a head-to-head winning record against Roger, Rafa, and Murray so on and so forth.
If Novak ties with them in the end, it’s going to be really tough to argue his resume," the former World number 1 added.
