Simona Halep thanked her former coach Daniel Dobre for 2019 season and all of the previous years after joining the forces with Darren Cahill again.
It was another successful season for Simona Halep. She added another Grand Slam title to her collection and ends the year as number 4 of the world ranking. At the beginning of the year, Halep worked with the Romanian coach Daniel Dobre, but later their ways split and Halep started to work with her former coach Darren Cahill again. Now she thanks Dobre on her Twitter account saying:
"Daniel, I want to thank you for everything you have done for me this year. (Actually, for the many years that you have been by my side.) For your hard work, patience and belief in me. We end our collaboration with a Wimbledon trophy and a great friendship...we couldn't ask for more! I wish you only the best and who knows, the future might hold another chapter for us."
