Tennis player's react to the suspension of tennis for six weeks

All tennis activities have been suspended for at least 6 weeks following the troublesome manner in which the COVID-19 virus spread across the globe.
Due to an ongoing Coronavirus pandemic tennis was suspended for six weeks. It wasn't only tennis who fell victim to this as many other sporting events have also been cancelled. The problem is that any large gathering bares a lot of risk and sporting events are huge events across the globe.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
