Tsitsipas reacts to being named Greek athlete of the year: 'It's a huge honour for me'

Stefanos Tsitsipas ended up winning Greek Athlete of the Year recently and at the award ceremony despite not being there he spoke about how huge of an honour it was to claim victory and that it is important for him to gain this recognition.

Tsitsipas added that there has been a lot of difficult times and stress but that he hopes to win it again next year.

"Unfortunately tonight I cannot see you. I am abroad but thank you very much, it's a huge honour for me,

Very important to me that I was able to get this recognition. The best way to end the year. Many difficult times. A lot of stress. I will keep trying to give my best and be in the same situation or even better. Happy new year."
