Fans of grass court tennis have only a few days to wait before the Wimbledon Championships begin, with the only grass court Grand Slam set to run from July1-14, 2024.
Every tennis player's dream is to lift the title at Wimbledon, and several already have their names etched in the history books as former champions. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz defeated Serbian great Novak Djokovic in an epic final at last year's edition, and both men will be competing at this year's event. On the women's side, Marketa Vondrousova defeated Ons Jabeur to win her maiden Grand Slam title.

Play kicks off on Monday

The first two days of Wimbledon are sure to be memorable, with stars of the ATP and WTA hoping to leave solid impressions in their opening round matches. Several top stars will begin proceedings on Monday, with many more featured on the following day.
