Roger Federer will be playing 5 exhibition matches in 5 different countries in South America against Alexander Zverev and he spoke also about his retirement.
In an interview with Tyc Sports, Federer opened up on his plans for retiring. Federer is 38 and many think he will retire soon, but he keeps playing on the highest level. The Swiss said:
"Many players retire in different ways. There are no rules. You do it depending on how do you feel. I do not know if I will announce it all of a sudden, it will depend on my health and results."
From 19th till 24th November, Federer and Zverev will play in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Mexico City and Quito. About exhibition matches, Federer said:
"I am looking forward to it, I do not go for a politics trip there but as an athlete who hopes to give a bit of joy and enjoy himself. Problems are not near me. Of course I am aware of the things going on."
