Zverev cites mother as biggest inspiration

In a sitdown with ATP's TennisTV the world number 7 selected his mother as his biggest inspiration in life.

Sasha Zverev is known around the ATP tour as one of the more humble tennis players. He was always very grateful for what he's been able to achieve and always gave a lot of credit to his family. He even recently pledged to donate all his Australian Open prize money to bushfire relief if he won it.
In a recent sitdown with TennisTV he spoke highlight of his mother whom he called his biggest inspiration:
“My mother has always been an inspiration, always did everything for us, for my brother, for myself, coached me from a young age. She did everything possible to make us the tennis players, and the people that we are today"
Zverev is also known around the tour as someone who is also very close to his older brother Misha. Misha is also a tennis player who was a respectable player in his best days. The Zverev's have tennis in their blood as their mother was also a tennis player. She represented the Soviet Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States during her career.
Now, in a different role, that of a mother Irina Zvereva is doing everything she can to make Sasha the best tennis player he can be.
