Tennis once again returns to Lyon in 2021 for the Open 6ème Sens event that will run in the first week of March. It will feature an overall financial commitment of $235,238 and a field dominated by native French players. The defending champion is Sofia Kenin yet the American won't be attending this event so we will get a new champion in Lyon. The top seed is Ekaterina Alexandrova and she will face stiff competition from many other players for the trophy.
Despite not having a longstanding history being held only once before, in 2020, the event drew a respectable crowd of players.
