2021 St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy Entry List with Bencic, Mertens, Riske

The sixth edition of the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy takes place in the third week of March, gathering some of the best WTA players fighting for the trophy.

After quite a lot of withdrawals, Elise Mertens should be a top seed in St. Petersburg in 2021. She will be followed by 4 Russian players Ekaterina Alexandrova, Veronika Kuderemtova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. Also Fiona Ferro and Jelena Ostapenko should take part in the tournament and we'll see another Russian as Daria Kasatkina signed up for the tournament.

Two-time champion, Kiki Bertens will not defend her title in 2021 and so we'll see a new champion. That can be also Jil Teichmann who showed good form in Dubai or Jelena Ostapenko who is playing good tennis in 2021 again. However, some of the biggest favorites will be definitely the Russian players who will be cheered by the home crowd.
