The 2022 WTA event in Birmingham returns with a strong field and some decent
prize money running from June 13th till June 19th.
The event is a WTA 250 event with
Jelena Ostapenko the number one seed and
Simona Halep the number two seed. Last year's champion Ons Jabeur is skipping over this event and we won't see her defend her trophy from last year. The runner-up Daria Kasatkina is doing the same so we will get a completely new final alongside a new champion.
The winner of this event will take home $29,800 while the losing player in the final will get $19,750. Semi-finalists will get $11,000 with the quarter-finals getting $6,200. Check out the full prize money breakdown below.
