2023 Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem Rabat Draw including Trevisan, Stephens and Fernandez

The 2023 WTA event in Rabat will feature a pretty decent field headlined by last year's champion Martina Trevisan who found her form at the event.

It all started with a comeback win over Mugurza for Trevisan and continued with a superb play through the week with the title in the end. She would end up in the Roland Garros semi-final sometime later thanks to her superb confidence which carried her ever since Rabat. She's back this year to try and defend her trophy.

It's a tricky start for her as she faces Parrizas Diaz in the first round. The second seed is Sloane Stephens and she faces Vera Zvonareva in the first round. Another interesting matchup that we'll see in the first round is between Sara Sorribes Tormo and Leylah Fernandez. They just played at an WTA event in Spain with Sorribes Tormo winning comfortably.

Alycia Parks will also be a part of the draw though she will face a qualifier. Tatjana Maria will also play at the event and she too waits for a qualifier. Sherif and Baindl are another interesting pairing. Check it out below.
