An ATP Challenger event in Turin opted to finish on indoor hard courts after rain disrupted the traditional clay event so much so that the matches had to be moved.
Italy hasn't been dealing with very nice weather in recent days with several events disrupted. Both the ATP and WTA event in Rome has been battling rain delays daily and it's not much better further up north in Turin. A traditional clay challenger, the event started as much but after rain kept disrupting it, the organizers elected to switch venues.
The event was concluded on indoor hard courts because Friday's semi-final schedule didn't happen due to rain. The event had to end on Saturday so organizers quickly arranged for the event to move indoors with both the semi-finals and the final concluding today. Native player Gaio took advantage of the change upsetting clay specialist Baez indoors while Koepfer did the same to Galan.
In the final, it was Dominic Koepfer who took down native player Gaio in the final.
