2023 Merida Open Akron WTA Draw including Magda Linette, Sloane Stephens, Alycia Parks and Zhu Lin

The draw has been confirmed for Merida Open Akron, the next WTA 250 tournament taking place between February 20-26, 2023 in Mexico.
Magda Linette is top seed and will face Camila Osorio with a potential second round against Jule Niemeier. Recent stars on tour in Alycia Parks and Zhu Lin are also involved with the latter facing Caty McNally. Parks could face Nadia Podoroska in the second round.
Sloane Stephens is also involved and could face Tatjana Maria in the second round, while other ties include Mayar Sherif facing Camila Giorgi and Alison Riske-Amritraj facing Xiyu Wang.
