2023 Miami Open final preview: Rybakina v Kvitova

The Miami Open final will be played later today as Elena Rybakina looks to complete the Sunshine double which she'll do if she beats Kvitova in the final.

What can be said about Elena Rybakina that hasn't been said already? She's absolutely on a tear right now beating many great players with ease. This is a really solid chance for her against Kvitova but she'll need to play well. Kvitova is an excellent player who found a very good rhythm this week and there are certainly ways for her to defeat her.

They played once this year and it was in Adelaide with Kvitova winning but this match si being played in different conditions. They are slower to those compared in Australia and Rybakina herself cited that as something that should benefit her more. She's excited about the chance to play a great player and the hope is that she wins.
