Prior to the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, the stars of the WTA will travel to 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands for the Libema Open s-Hertogenbosch tournament, which will run from June 10-16, 2024.
A WTA 250 event, the Libema Open is one of the few grass court tournaments on the WTA calendar. Often used as a warm-up for Wimbledon, the tournament will feature several top stars vying for it's unique title. Two-time defending champion Ekaterina Alexandrova will be making a return, as the Russian hopes to win her third consecutive title at the event.
American Jessica Pegula has been confirmed as the top-ranked player at the event. Joining the World No.5 is compatriot Emma Navarro, who has been having a breakthrough season. Former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu is scheduled to compete at the event, following several months on the sideline due to injury.
The grass court event will offer a total prize money pool of $267,082, with the eventual titlist going home with $35,250.
