Ekaterina Alexandrova won in the final of the Open BLS de Limoges in France over Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-1 and 6-3 in less than an hour.

It was a splendid week by 25-years-old Russian in France. She lost only one set to Monica Niculescu in the first round, but from that moment, she was flawless. She outplayed Dodin, Bogdan and Gibbs without losing a set.
In the final, she met Sasnovich who was in good form in Limoges as well. But the match was very much one-sided. Alexandrova started it on serve earning a 1-0 lead. From the second game, Alexandrova won 11 points in a row to secure a quick 4-0 lead. She added another game on her service, and had an opportunity to win the set 6-0 as she had another break point and set point on Sasnovich's game. She did not convert it and won the set 6-1.
In the second set, it was a good beginning again for the Russian. She led 3-1 and later 5-2. Although she lost her service game, she broke her opponent to win the set 6-3. After a really dominant performance, Alexandrova lift the trophy in Limoges. She does have a one more chance to add another trophy as she plays the final in doubles with Kalashnikova. They will be facing the 3rd seeded pair Garcia-Perez & Sorribes Tormo.
