Andreescu continues good run with a win over Sakkari

Bianca Andreescu defeated Maria Sakkari after she came back to win the match following the loss of the first set 5-7 6-3 6-4 at the Miami Open.

Andreescu took down Raducanu in a 3-set match in the previous round and she did the same this time around however the order of the set winners was different. She lost the first set in this one as Sakkari played a really solid one serving and hitting the ball well. Andreescu was just a bit too erratic at times and she wasn't able to control the ball better.

Andreescu came back to win the second set 6-3 as her play was much more stable and deliberate. Sakkari greatly helped Andreescu by struggling with her serve and giving her some free points with four double faults. She was poor on the second serve because Andreescu kept playing aggressively and it worked out in her favour.

The final set was quite similar as neither player served that well but Sakkari was simply not able to keep up with Andreescu. She struggled immesenly on her serve and got broken far too many times to be able to win this match.
