Ashleigh Barty will become a mother for the second time with the hopes of the former World No.1 making a return to tennis now further dashed.
Barty has been the subject of much debate since she retired about whether she would return and has not fully stayed away from tennis. She will play at a family fun day at the Brisbane International and has been a focal point of the Australian Open festivities.
She gave birth to her first born Hayden back in 2022 who was a star of the announcement. He was pictured opening presents with a shirt saying: “I’m going to be a big brother.”
It is the second with husband Garry Kissick who she has been in a relationship with since 2017. They got married soon after Barty’s retirement after their long term relationship and now has more to celebrate.
