Barty reveals details of engagement to long-term boyfriend Kissick: "I had designed the ring with him"

Ashleigh Barty and her long-term boyfriend Garry Kissick got engaged in November and as she heads towards the Australian Open, she discussed the engagement.

Barty spoke about the details including that she had designed the engagement ring so knew about it for a while before Kissick popped the question.

"Garry and I have been together for a long time now and I had designed the ring with him. We are obviously excited now for the next chapter. We were at home on the couch with the puppies. It was very much just us. It was perfect for us," Barty told Herald Sun, as quoted on Sportskeeda.

"Everyone has their unique way of doing it. It was perfectly suited to us. That’s just me and who I am and who we are together."
