Bertens becomes women's Virtual Madrid Open champion defeating Ferro

After 4 days of intense battles, 2 best players met in the Virtual Madrid Open final. Kiki Bertens faced Fiona Ferro in a match of two most skilled virtual tennis players.

Kiki experienced a great journey at the Virtual Madrid Open. She didn't drop a single game in the group stage and defeated 2 dangerous opponents in the quarterfinal and the semifinal. After outplaying Bencic and Wozniacki, she faced Fiona Ferro who was also playing exceptionally.

Unlike the quarterfinal and semifinal matches, the final was pretty much one-sided. Bertens showed all of her experience when she dominated the match and won it 6-2. After triumphing at Madrid Open in 2019, she triumphed also at the 2020 Virtual Madrid Open to defend her title.
