Bianca Andreescu discusses what made her take break from tennis in Part Three of The Real Me documentary

Former World No.4 Bianca Andreescu is featured on the latest episode of 'The Real Me', a WTA docuseries that gives fans a deeper look at their favorite WTA superstars.
The 2019 US Open champion was the star of the new episode, which centered around modern health. Furthermore, Andreescu also opened up about what precipitated her break from tennis, before rediscovering her love for the sport.
The 22-year old took a hiatus at the start of 2022, missing the Australian Open, Indian Wells and Miami due to a lingering injury. Andreescu took this time to re-evaluate her love for the game, as well as focus on other passions that also brought her joy.

The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
