Jennifer Brady has claimed her first WTA singles title with victory at the Top Seed Open in Kentucky coming through a star studded field on home soil whilst not losing a set all week.

This continued for Brady who saw off Swiss ace Jil Teichmann in a 6-3, 6-4 win. The win was completed in just under two hours with her serve and ground game on full display on the hard courts in Lexington.
It's another ground breaking moment for the American who reached the Brisbane International Quarter-Finals; Dubai semi-finals and now Top Seed Open; where she has gone all the way in a brilliant 2020 so far.
Her run included losing just six games to Coco Gauff in the semi-finals and against Teichmann; she saved five break points in the seventh game to begin the tie; which proved pivotal as he served out the opening set.
The momentum continued as she broke serve early and saved all four break points on her serve edging over the line. Will this run be the catalyst ahead of the US Open for Brady?
