Coco Gauffβs coach,
Brad Gilbert, has complained about having a bad experience at a restaurant in Paris. The 20-year-old is often regarded as one of the most highly-rated players in the womenβs singles category. Gauff is currently participating in the
French Open, where he has already booked her place in the quarterfinal after
beating Italyβs Elisabetta Cocciaretto with a score of 6-1, 6-2.
Gauffβs coach Gilbert, in a post on his official account on
the social media platform X β previously known as Twitter β where he explained
how he had a bad experience at a restaurant in Paris.
"Need to vent just had a 2+ hr dinner π₯
at my hotel π¨ that was beyond shocking π³
1st time eating there for dinner in 14 days, took forever and they served Zoe
raw chicken π then brought back after 45 mins with same
silverware π₯ on table and got everything wrong on my
orderβ¦..," he wrote. "And looked at us like hmm π€
about serving raw chicken π and brutal when asked
for clean silverware. Was trying to like heck to just get check to get the heck
out of there, amazingly itβs crowded and both tables next to us have exactly π
the same issues, and saw @ChrisEubankJr walk in to sit down πͺ
felt massively obligated to tell him donβt do it run πββοΈto
another place asap. Felt bad for the waitress and left decent tip and food was
125 euros πΆ,"
