The American teenage sensation and current world no. 66 is ecstatic about playing in her first senior Grand Slam where she is a direct entrant into the main draw.

Coco Guaff said she's really excited to play on the big stage as the Australian Open nears. The Australian Open will be her first Grand Slam getting into the main draw without getting a wildcard or qualifying.
"I'm really excited. This is my first slam getting into the main draw without getting a wildcard or qualifying. I haven't been back in Melbourne since I was 13 when I played juniors so I'm really excited to play on the big stage, " Guaff said.
The 15-years-old made herself known in the tennis world when she reached the fourth round as a qualifier at Wimbledon. Her run to the quarterfinal included an unexpected win over Venus Williams, a five-time champion.
She became the youngest player to feature in the TOP 100 of the world rankings after reaching the third round of the US Open and winning her first WTA title.
She's currently no. 66 in the world, which is a career-high for the talented youngster.
