Draw 2022 Open 6ème Sens Métropole de Lyon with Giorgi, Kovinic and Cornet

The WTA 250 event in Lyon will run from February 28th till March 6th with Camila Giorgi and Sorana Cirstea the top seeds.

The 2022 event is the 3rd edition of this event that is being played indoors at the end of February. The defending champion is Clara Tauson who won her maiden trophy last year at this event but she won't be back in 2022 to defend her title. We will get a new champion and it might be Camila Giorgi who is the top seed.

She will face tricky Caroline Garcia who played rather well in Doha last week. She might even pull off an upset in this match and that would make the home fans happy. Sorana Cirstea is the 2nd seed and she will face Bolkvadze in round one.

Other interesting first-round matchups include Konju against Boulter which should be a fun one. Dayana Yastremska escape from Ukraine a few days ago and she will already be playing tennis in Lyon. She will face Bogdan in the first round of the event.
