The Eisenhower Cup will return before Indian Wells with the line-up confirmed and it is an all star affair with Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Holger Rune, Ben Shelton, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas among those involved.
The one-night-only mixed doubles event officially known as the Eisenhower Cup but also will employ the Tie Break Tens format will pair up some of the highest profile names led by Sabalenka teaming with American number one, Taylor Fritz. The Polish duo of Swiatek and Hubert Hurkacz also are involved. As are tennis power couple Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Perhaps with one eye on the Olympic Games, Caroline Wozniacki and Holger Rune will team up, as will another potential team in Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul. Elena Rybakina and Andrey Rublev are involved as are Ben Shelton teaming with Emma Navarro. Australian Open finalist Qinwen Zheng will also team with Frances Tiafoe.
Sabalenka and Fritz won the title last year with eight teams competing for a $200,000 prize with the net proceeds going to local charities. The first team to reach 10 points and lead by at least two is the winner. The Eisenhower Cup has long been a precursor to Indian Wells and it has also been held as a women's only tournament prior to being reformatted alongside the Tie Break Tens last year.
