Elena Rybakina celebrated in Kazakhstan with special 'felicitation' event with president

Elena Rybakina was celebrated back home in Kazakhstan where she will lead the country against Poland in the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers.

Very few players have had as much success as Rybakina in 2023 and she was celebrated with a ceremony led by the country's President Tokayev. The player was noted for her ferocious will to win which was shown early in the year in Melbourne as well as during the Sunshine double stretch where she also played really well.

Being back home in Kazakhstan is nice for Rybakina as she was once again showered with a lot of love from the fans. She will be there for a few more days leading the country against Poland in the Billie Jean King Cup. The tie will be played in Astana on clay which is a good way to introduce her to the upcoming clay season as well.
