Elena Rybakina overcomes bagel in comeback win over Sabalenka in Dubai

Elena Rybakina scored a pretty big win for herself at the World Tennis League in Dubai where she proved better than Aryba Sabalenka 0-6 6-1 10-6.

The scoreline was a pretty interesting one as Sabalenka came out on fire in the opening set. She was playing really well and hitting the ball cleanly, pretty much the opposite of Rybakina who was all over the place. Only 20 minutes in total was needed for Sabalenka to serve a bagel to Rybakina. The second was pretty much identical.

It wasn't a bagel but a 6-1 finish for Rybakina and it lasted a bit longer at 25 minutes. The player simply traded roles as Rybakina was a in good rhythm and Sabalenka was not. The final set was a match tiebreak and it was tightly contested. Being in a better rhythm overall served Rybakina better as she emerged victorious 10-6.
