Emma Raducanu has been ramping up her training sessions as she prepares to make her comeback on the WTA tour.
The 2021 US Open has been out of action for several months, following surgeries on her wrists and ankles. Already hampered by injuries since winning her first Major title in New York, Raducanu opted to go under the knife in an attempt to find a permanent solution to her ailments.
Raducanu doubling down on practice sessions
The 20-year old has seen her ranking fall from World No.10 after her title win in New York, to just inside the top 300 as she's battled with various injuries and coaching changes. Nonetheless, Raducanu seems ready to return to the courts, as she took to social media to update fans on her training, indicating she was practicing twice a day.
