Emma Raducanu makes dream of driving a Porsche sports car at Silverstone happen

Emma Raducanu grew up as a big fan of motorsports with Formula One being her favourite one and she combined a few dreams into one and made them happen recently.

Raducanu has always been open about her love for excitement and the Brit loves to feel the adrenaline. Driving fast is certainly an activity that would make most people feel it quite heavily and Raducanu got the experience it recently at an iconic racing track - Silverstone.

She teamed up with Porsche and former racer Mark Webber to test out their new sports car at Silverstone. It was a fun experience for Raducanu as she explained:

"It was great to meet Mark and get some insight both to winning with Porsche at the top level and his own dedication to personal fitness. I look forward to driving with him again! I found the track really good. It was a lot of fun for me...Over the laps, you can anticipate the car’s reactions more, and I could get into a rhythm."

She even found parallels between racing and tennis:

"It is like playing a tennis match; learning where to push and how to work with the car to get the best results. My instructor Graham gave me lots of good advice. I learned a lot and am already looking forward to coming back."
