Emma Raducanu shows love of motorsport, swaps tennis racket for race track

British tennis star Emma Raducanu temporarily switched her tennis racket for a helmet, as was evident in some photos she posted on social media recently.

The 2021 US Open champion has not been shy when expressing her love for F1 racing, and attempted to emulate her idol Lewis Hamilton as she prepared to go around the track.

Raducanu took some time off to recover from an injury, but is eyeing a return at the Stuttgart Open in two weeks. During her hiatus, the British No.1 took to Instagram to share some photos from a race track, while also adding a throwback picture of herself donning a suit and helmet as a child.

"Reviving the cooler Emma in a different type of workout,” she wrote.

Furthermore, Raducanu posed in a racing suit while wearing a Porsche helmet - one of her sponsors - and shared a photo of a camera screen, perhaps hinting that she was filming something behind-the-scenes.
