Former World No.1
Naomi Osaka has revealed her post-birth aspirations, and they include winning at least eight more Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal.
The Japanese superstar is currently expecting her first child with rapper-boyfriend Cordae, but has plans to return sometime next year, possibly at the 2024 Australian Open.
The four-time Grand Slam champion experienced subpar results prior to her maternity leave, with her last tournament being at the Japan Open in September. Nonetheless, Osaka seemed to have her mind set on new goals when asked about how many more Major titles she'd like to win in a recent interview.
"Eight," she responded.
Osaka also expressed her desire to win a gold medal at the
Olympic Games, with Paris 2024 being an ideal avenue.
"I want to try to win the Olympics next year," she said.
Osaka's last tour-level title was the 2021 Australian Open, which she clinched with a win against Jennifer Brady in the final.
