Entry List Berlin Ladies Open 2025: Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula lead stacked pre-Wimbledon field

The field has been confirmed for the 2025 Berlin Ladies Open which is due to take place between June 14-22, 2025 and sees some huge names involved on the route towards Wimbledon.

Aryna Sabalenka will lead the field to start her preparations. Iga Swiatek, Jasmine Paolini and Mirra Andreeva, the latter two also play in Berlin are also involved in Bad Homburg meaning they have shown their plans to play mainly in Europe this grass court season.

But Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Madison Keys are also involved interesting for the latter two as they play Queen's the week before in the UK. So will head from London to Berlin to play back to back WTA 500's to prepare for Wimbledon.

Also in tandem are Zheng Qinwen, Emma Navarro, Paula Badosa and Diana Shnaider. While former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina also secures a spot alongside Karolina Muchova and Elina Svitolina in the draw.

The intriguing part of it too which was confirmed yesterday surrounded the wildcards with Eva Lys no shock given she is in her home country, is the top player by some distance and will also play Bad Homburg.

But the other two wildcards given out were to Naomi Osaka who plays Queen's also as well as a certain Emma Raducanu. The Brit somewhat has the lottery ordinarily and can usually play all of the British tournaments such as Birmingham, Nottingham and Eastbourne. But has likely decided to take this opportunity for better competition on a surface she should realistically thrive on.

Also with the demise of Birmingham into a WTA 125, her other option was playing Nottingham or waiting for Eastbourne so no doubt she decided to play in Germany. It remains to be seen whether she plays the latter or whether she decides to go to Bad Homburg as well.
