Eugenie Bouchard participates at New Balance event with American Olympic medalist

Although Eugenie Bouchard has been out of action as she recovers from a shoulder injury, the Canadian tennis star continues to make showings at various events as she prepares for a comeback.

Recently, Bouchard made an appearance at an event organized by New Balance, to celebrate the launch of their 500,000-square-foot facility. This new facility, launched by New Balance has an indoor track, research lab, sports bar, climate-controlled product-testing rooms and brainstorming hubs.

At the celebration, the 2014 Wimbledon runner-up posed with American Olympic star Gabrielle Thomas, who won silver and bronze medals for the USA. Bouchard posted a photo that showed her mimic Thomas' starting posture on the track, while captioning the image with ‘Not me trying to learn a proper running stance”.

The 28-year old is yet to announce when she'll make a return to the court, although she has indicated ramping up her practice sessions in updates to her fans.
