The final day of women's qualifying at the 2020 Australian Open brought nine two-set matches out of the 10 matches played, Caty McNally was one of the successful players.

On Saturday, men and women fought for the last spots available in the main draw of the 2020 Australian Open. However, the day among women seemed like a sure thing for some of the players.
Cocciaretto, Hibino, Minnen, Krejcikova, and McNally were all of the players that did not allow their opponents to win more than 3 games in the match.
Lottner, Juvan, Larsson, and Fernandez were the other players that competed only in 2 sets, to ensure their spot in the main draw. The only player, that needed to fight in the 3 sets was Anna Kalinskaya. She lost the first set to Xin Yu Wang 4-6 but was victorious in the 2nd and 3rd to also become a successful qualifier.
The main draw will begin on Monday 20th of January 2020 as many players including 2019 Champion, Naomi Osaka can't wait to start in Melbourne.
