Stubbs, has questioned people who think that the Republican presidential candidate
is an ideal fit to lead the USA.
The 52-year-old, in a post on social media platform X — previously
known as Twitter — where she expressed her political views.
“Can you imagine thinking this is a great person to lead a
country. Omg! Honestly!!?????,” she posted.
Trump has been an interesting figure in the USA’s politics for
more than five years. His presidency remained one of the most controversial in
the country’s history.
He is currently facing different charges, including of corruption
and stealing state secrets while being the head of the government.
Stubbs, who also played tennis at the highest level but did
not win a single WTA title, was part of Serena’s coaching team in her last year.
The 42-year-old is often regarded as the greatest player in
the history of women’s singles tennis in the Open era, having won 23 Grand Slam
titles in her career.
Williams' most successful competitions were the Australian
Open and Wimbledon where she ended up winning seven times each.
Her last major title triumph came in 2017 when she defeated her
sister Venus in the final of the Australian Open in straight sets with a score
of 6-4, 6-4.
