Garcia among players to be followed for Netflix Break Point Season Two: "It gave a new energy"

Caroline Garcia confirmed that she agreed to take part in season two of the Netflix Series Break Point after watching season one of the series on her way back from Australia.

Garcia recently contested the Lyon Open final losing to Alycia Parks. It was a disappointing loss for her but she's far more relaxed now than a few years ago. Even losing the trophy in her hometown did not unsettle her as she plans to keep things going and focus on winning matches and not any negative stress:

“I found the right balance as the tournament went on and the right attitude, the one that will really help me to keep going and win matches, without this unnecessary tension and negative stress. Of course, there was stress, but it allowed me to go out and get my matches and hang in there today.”

Asked about Break Point, Garcia confirmed she will take part in it after initially declining participatio for the Australian Open:

“I felt it wasn’t the right time in Melbourne to get into it. I also wanted to skip the tournament and watch season 1. I watched it on the plane home and I was hooked. A lot of the players and I wanted to share a little bit of the behind-the-scenes stuff. It was fun to have them at the beginning of the week, it gave a new energy.”
