Gauff and Fernandez among players to send well wishes to Raducanu after surgery news

After it was revealed that Emma Raducanu would be undergoing a minor surgical procedure on her hands, the tennis community showered the British tennis star with messages of love and support.

Raducanu has been dealing with injury over the past two years, which has been reflected in her subpar performance over that period. The 2021 US Open champion withdrew from her opening round match at the ongoing Madrid Open, and will likely miss Wimbledon as she will be out of action for a few months.

American tennis star Coco Gauff took to social media to send well-wishes Raducanu's way.

"Get well soon Emma," she wrote.

Leylah Fernandez, who lost to Raducanu in the US Open final two years ago, harbored no ill-will as she also wished the British star a speedy recovery.

"Get well soon!" wrote the Canadian.
