Donna Vekic has reached the final of the Bett1 Open Berlin with another semi-final loss for Maria Sakkari.
Vekic saw off Sakkari 6-4, 7-6 in the end and as a result reached a fourth career grass court final.
Always a threat on this surface, she joins finals in Birmingham and two in Nottingham with the latter gleaming a title.
She faces either Ekaterina Alexandrova and Petra Kvitova at time of writing, one a winner last week on the surface in Holland. The other a former Wimbledon champion.
Only Karolina Pliskova (six) and Angelique Kerber as well as Belinda Bencic (five) have reached more grass court final.
