Former World No.1, Simona Halep has not only had to quash dating rumours this week, but also seen disappointing news on the tennis court with her doping case continuing to rumble on.
After having a tribunal in London, Halep entered the US Open with the expectation that at least a verdict would be passed down around that time. In particular this week, but this has been delayed again.
She took to social media to confirm that the frustration will continue and the 'emotional toll' as she put it. As previously alluded to, it has been a news filled week for Halep who had to refute dating her hitting partner also through social media.
The saga of Simona Halep rumbles on likely for the foreseeable with over a year now off court.
"Today I found out that the decision in my case which was expected this week, will be further delayed. This is terribly disappointing, as I have constantly said that all I ask for is to be judged. It is hard to explain the emotional toll that all of these delays have had and continue to have on me," she wrote on social media.

Simona Halep says the decision in her case has been delayed again.
“It is hard to explain the emotional toll these delays have had & continue to have on me.”
How much longer will she have to wait for a verdict.
Seriously?
