"I don't really get starstruck but I might cry": Azarenka admits she isn't ready to meet Lionel Messi after Inter Miami picture

Although she is a superstar in her own right, former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka revealed she could get starstruck and even burst into tears were she to meet soccer megastar Lionel Messi.
Azarenka kicks off her North American hardcourt swing this week at the DC Open, but stopped to attend a soccer match match between Inter Miami and Atlanta United last week, where she took a 'selfie' with the superstar.
Azarenka admits to being overwhelmed by Argentine superstar
During a press conference, the two-time Grand Slam champion was asked about the atmosphere during the soccer game, and if she was ready to meet the Inter Miami forward.
"The atmosphere with the Latin music was crazy," she said. "They were like, putting the fires and stuff. I love that. I wish we had the kind of similar sometimes atmosphere in tennis.
"I had a big privilege being very, very close to the pitch, so I could almost feel like Iโm on the field. I was very lucky with that and very grateful. So it was really fun. I definitely want to go see more games.
โI donโt know if Iโm ready to meet Messi yet. Weโll see. I might actually cry. Like, Iโm not a fan- not that Iโm not- I am a fan of a lot of people, but I donโt really get starstruck, but yeah, I donโt know. I might cry. I definitely will probably cry."

- The current screwed-up appeasing state of Society makes it very difficult for sports to Right the Wrong of allowing Males to compete against females -- and vice-versa -- simply because one 'believes' they are a different gender. DNA testing is an obvious step toward Truth. Biology does not lie... you are what you are regardless of what one thinks. Moreover, using permanent surgeries to manipulate one's body also does not change its Biology. I like to believe I am extremely wealthy, with unlimited funds in my accounts... but the banks and retailers say it is not so. End of Fantasy.

- Good on them!! This betting disease is going to go one of two ways: Either it will be entirely restructured from the irresponsible "business model" it is; or be forced to return to off-line avenues. If this current situation continues, it will not end well for sports nor betting entities.
