Belarus tennis star Aryna Sabalenka's mother Juliya has shown
optimism that her daughter will soon win another Grand Slam title.
The 25-year-old is regarded as one of the best players in
the world in the women’s singles category alongside Poland’s
Iga Swiatek. She
has recently won her second
Australian Open title. She defeated China’s Qinwen Zheng
in the final in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-2.
Sabalenka's mother Juliya, while posting a picture of two
Australian Open titles on her official account on the social media platform Instagram,
wrote she remains optimistic that not only her daughter will win another Grand
Slam but that it will be one out of the other three major events.
"Twins. I want at least triplets!!! And we need to
diversify the collection somehow," her mother wrote. Sabalenka won the Australian
Open title last year as well. She defeated
Elena Rybakina in the final with a
score of 4–6, 6–3, 6–4.
The Minsk-born
Aryna Sabalenka has been on a fabulous run, at least in Grand
Slams, as she has played in the semifinal or beyond in the last six
mega-events. Sabalenka lost to America’s Coco Gauff in the final of the US Open
with a score of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
