The legacy of
Serena Williams continues to grow, as the American is sought after by various corporations that would like to be associated with the WTA legend. And it seems like World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) would like to collaborate with the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
Stephanie McMahon. Chief Brand Officer of WWE and daughter of chairman Vince McMahon, recently spoke about her desire to invite the tennis star to the ring. With the rising success of women's wrestling in recent years, McMahon spoke on the possibility of including other female superstars to enhance the product.
"From an athletic standpoint I would love to see Serena and Venus Williams in WWE, individually or as a couple," McMahon stated. "There are so many amazing athletes out there that I would love to bring to WWE. Among the celebrities I would love to bring Cardi B."
McMahon, who is known to step into the ring on occasion, praised Williams's character, adding that her larger-than-life personality is a compatible match with the WWE.
"I think she is so colorful, lively and full of life that she could raise the bar in WWE," McMahon continued. "I think she would be awesome."
