"If Coco was a stock, I'm gonna buy": Tracy Austin predicts Grand Slam breakthrough soon for Gauff

Former American player Tracy Austin is buying Coco Gauff stock believing she is due for a major breakthrough in the near future.

Believing that isn't anything shocking as people have been predicting Gauff's breakthrough for a long time but it's yet to properly come. To be fair, she broke out several times in a major way but never won a grand slam. She looked in really good shape ahead of the Australian Open but disappointed at the event losing to Ostapenko.

Despite that Tracy Austin believes it's coming and it's coming sooner than later:

"If Coco was a stock, I'm gonna buy. Coco's gonna win her first Major pretty soon. Most important thing we need to remember is she's only 18. We've seen such great improvement in her game."

She added:

"I think the fans and the media and maybe even Coco for a while were in a big hurry. But now, I think she recognizes that it's tough to break into top 10. She's now No. 6. Tough to get that first Major under your belt. She did that last year at Roland Garros."

And concluded with:

She [Coco Gauff] seems to be a real student of the game. Even after that Ostapenko match, she talked about wanting to go watch that video and break it down.
